RIDGID roll groover spares and replacement components
Roll-grooving equipment uses model-specific rolls, shafts, bearings, hydraulic components and service parts. Correct identification matters because the groover model, pipe material, diameter range and wall specification can all affect the required component.
Begin with the full model designation and the exploded-parts diagram for the machine. Manual and hydraulic groovers can share a product family while using very different assemblies, so a part should never be selected from appearance alone.
Before ordering a roll groover part
- Confirm the exact RIDGID groover model
- Locate the catalogue or part number in the diagram
- Check pipe material and intended diameter range
- Identify whether the item is a roll set, service part or assembly
- Record serial or production information where the literature requires it
Are RIDGID roll sets interchangeable between groovers?
Not automatically. Roll sets are selected for stated groover models, pipe materials and size ranges. Confirm all three before ordering.
How do I identify parts for a RIDGID 915, 916 or 918 groover?
Use the complete model number and the relevant exploded diagram. Similar model numbers do not mean that shafts, rolls, bearings or hydraulic parts are shared.
Can one roll set cover every pipe material?
No. The approved roll set can vary with pipe material, diameter and specification. Follow the manufacturer's capacity and roll-selection information for the machine.
What if the old part number no longer appears?
Provide TCD with the original number, machine model and diagram reference. The available information can then be checked for a replacement, supersession or complete service kit.
