2 Hour Fire Rated Metal Single Riser Door with Smoke Seals

The 2 Hour Fire Rated Metal Single Riser Door provides secure access to concealed building services while helping maintain fire compartmentation within internal wall systems. Designed for use in service risers and vertical shafts, this metal riser door is fire rated from both sides and supplied with smoke seals, draught seals and intumescent seals as standard.

Ideal for multi-storey buildings, these riser doors help reduce the spread of fire and smoke through service voids while still allowing straightforward access for inspection and maintenance. Each unit is manufactured in the UK from robust steel and supplied with a 3-point locking system operated by a tee key for secure closure.

Available in both Picture Frame and Beaded Frame options, this product can be selected to suit your preferred installation finish. The picture frame version offers a clean, visible trim around the opening, while the beaded frame version is designed for a more flush plastered-in appearance.

Each panel is finished in RAL 9010 white polyester powder coating (30% gloss) as standard and is suitable for internal wall applications only.

Installation Information

The structural opening must be 7mm larger than the panel size ordered to allow correct fitting tolerance.

The frame should be fixed securely within the prepared opening, ensuring it is square and flush before refitting the door and locking it into position.

Independent bracing or additional support may be required depending on the size and weight of the riser door.
