The National Grid Gas Meter Box G60032, available from Trade Counter Direct, is a robust and unobtrusive solution designed for housing domestic gas meters. Engineered to be partially buried in the ground, this brown meter box is specified for use with the Itron (formerly Actaris) U6 SC6 plastic-bodied gas meter and is also compatible with the Elster 'smart' domestic meter when fitted with a bracket. Manufactured to meet stringent national standards, it is fully approved to National Grid Gas specifications and complies with BS8499:2009 for domestic gas meter boxes.
Constructed from durable, weather-resistant GRP, the G60032 is suitable for outdoor installation and offers long-term protection against the elements. Please note that meter box keys are not included, and due to the manufacturing process, minor cosmetic imperfections may be present.
