Description
HiKOKI CL18DAW2Z 18V Brushless Threaded Rod Cutter in Case from Trade Counter Direct.
The HiKOKI CL18DAW2Z 18V brushless threaded rod cutter makes clean, burr-free cuts in mild-steel rod up to M12, ready for direct nut fitting on site.
Designed for professional mechanical, electrical and building-services installation work, the CL18DAW2Z can cut threaded rod to length before installation or trim it directly at cable trays, ventilation ducts and other structures. Its cold-cutting action produces no sparks or metal dust and keeps noise and vibration low, reducing clean-up and avoiding the filing normally needed before fitting a nut.
Key features and benefits
- Clean, burr-free cuts: the cut end is ready for a nut to be fitted directly, without additional reworking.
- Wide threaded-rod capacity: cuts mild-steel sizes W5/16, W3/8, W1/2, M6, M8, M10 and M12, plus W3/8 stainless-steel rod.
- Accurate repetitive cutting: the length stop and scale help produce consistent series cuts.
- Cleaner working area: a removable collection box catches cut-off ends and can be emptied with one hand.
- Made for overhead work: one-hand operation and a balanced design support controlled cutting on installed services.
- Brushless motor: provides high power with reduced wear and a long service life.
- Clear cut-line visibility: an integrated LED illuminates the cutting area.
- Site-ready handling: a shoulder strap and hanging hook support safer use on scaffolding.
