The Manthorpe GL250 Loft Hatch, available from Trade Counter Direct, is a high-performance plastic access hatch designed to provide an effective draught seal and superior thermal insulation for loft spaces. Engineered to comply with Part L of the Building Regulations, this loft door features a multi-point catch mechanism and robust draught seals to prevent unwanted air leakage and the ingress of moist warm air into the roof space. Its unobtrusive, lightly textured white finish ensures it blends seamlessly with most interior décors, while the easy-clean surface allows for hassle-free maintenance.
Supplied with a 50 mm expanded polystyrene insulation pad, the GL250 ensures excellent thermal performance. The door can be operated by hand or with a pole (not supplied), and its pre-formed frame and included fixing screws make installation straightforward for both professionals and DIY users.
