REMS Pressing Tong Heads – M Profile (Up to 42mm)

REMS M Profile pressing tong heads are high-performance compression tongs manufactured from forged, specially hardened steel to ensure durability and long service life. The pressing contours are system-specific and precisely matched to the relevant press-fitting systems, guaranteeing perfect compatibility and consistently secure press joints.

Manufactured on advanced CNC production centres, the pressing jaws deliver exceptionally high precision with far tighter tolerances than cast pressing contours. This results in reliable, repeatable pressing performance across every application.

These REMS pressing tongs are compatible with all REMS radial presses (excluding the REMS Mini-Press ACC) and are also suitable for use with compatible radial presses from other manufacturers. Pressing tongs marked with an asterisk (*) feature an optional patented connection (EP 1 223 008, US 6,739,172), enabling manual operation with the REMS Eco-Press radial press.

Traceability & Standards Compliance

REMS pressing tongs with M, V, SA, B, RN and UP pressing contours feature a unique identification marking within the pressing contour. This marking leaves a permanent impression on the pressed fitting, allowing users to verify that the correct pressing tongs or pressing ring were used—even after installation.

This traceability system meets the recommendations of European Standard EN 1775:2007 for gas press-fitting installations, ensuring professional compliance and peace of mind.
