RIDGID 238-P Powered Soil Pipe Cutter (42878)

The RIDGID 238-P powered soil pipe cutter is designed to cut cast iron soil pipe quickly and efficiently, even in tight or restricted spaces. Lightweight and compact, it is ideal for both overhead and below-ground applications, making it a practical solution for professional drainage and plumbing work.

When driven by a 1/2" impact wrench (minimum 340Nm torque), the cutter can handle soil pipe up to 200mm (8"), while the included ratchet allows cutting up to 100mm (4"). Weighing just 6.1kg, the tool is easy to mount and manoeuvre in difficult locations. Its low-profile cutter wheels and compact design enable access where space is limited.

The cutter features two-directional operation, allowing the pipe to be scored evenly for a clean, controlled cut. A patent-pending torque limiter protects the tool from overloading, enhancing durability and operator safety.
