The RIDGID 690-I Hand Held Threader is a powerful, portable 115V power drive engineered for professional pipe threading in maintenance, repair and service environments. Constructed with a rugged die-cast aluminium gear housing and a heavy-duty fibreglass reinforced plastic body, the 690-I withstands demanding jobsite conditions. The integrated dual “V” jaw support arm prevents slippage during operation, ensuring stability and accuracy when cutting threads from ½″ to 2″ using RIDGID 11-R die heads.

The die head retaining system features a simple twist-and-release mechanism for the 1½″–2″ die head adapter, allowing quick changes and improved productivity. Screw-in brush covers enhance serviceability, reducing downtime and simplifying maintenance.
