Sealey EV1000 Vehicle Fire Safety Blanket - PU Coated 6 x 8m
Fire safety blanket for use on electric, hybrid, petrol and diesel vehicles. Designed for quick deployment on any vehicle as an effective method to contain flames, smoke and toxic fumes. Suitable for isolating and extinguishing high temperature fires produced from EV car batteries. Effectively starves oxygen to control self-oxygenating EV battery fires and prevents damage of thermal runaway and toxic fumes. Manufactured from high performance high silica with PU coating and high-grade stitching to withstand direct continuous temperatures up to 1000°C. Ideal for areas with high concentrations of cars such as car parks, garages, ferries, breakdown situations and controls risk of damage to surrounding infrastructure and other vehicles. Supplied in durable waterproof storage bag with straps for easy transportation and storage. Can be reused up to five times if the blanket has been closely inspected and fabric is not compromised. Once in position, the blanket should not be removed until emergency services have assessed the situation.
